According to IPRdaily statistics, Dragon ranked among the first tier for domestic applicants in the ranking of allowed invention patent application agencies in China in 2019, and represented 2,104 such cases throughout the year. It is particularly worth noting that Dragon ranks TOP1 and TOP7 in the patent rankings (with more number of claims) and characteristic rankings (with less number of limitations), which reflect the quality of allowed patents. Patent degree and characteristic degree are currently internationally recognized indicators that are most commonly used to evaluate the quality of patent entities. Among them, patent degree reflects the average number of claims of patents applied for protection, and the value is preferably large; characteristic degree reflects the average number of technical features in main claims, and the value is preferably small.
