The main achievements of Chaoyang Branch are as follows: Chaoyang district possesses a total of 165.2 thousand registered trademarks, accounting for 23.41% of the total in Beijing; organizing lecture “Guide international trademark registration, support overseas development of enterprises” for targeted parties, deepening enterprises’ understanding of overseas trademark registration; Chaoyang Branch organizes trainings for enterprises intending to apply for famous trademarks and corporations in trademark review cases each year; Chaoyang district possesses 79 “Beijing famous trademarks” and 27 “National Famous Brand in China”; introducing administrative measures for special support funds for enterprises with well-known trademarks/famous trademarks, and 33.5 million Yuan has been given as special support funds; assisting eight enterprises to obtain 361 million Yuan of bank loans through trademark pledge, and assisting the lending enterprises to obtain 2.912 million Yuan of interest subsidies for trademark pledge loan; crack down on all kinds of trademark infringement; together with the Chaoyang Public Security Bureau of economic investigation team, the Chaoyang Branch of Beijing Municipal Administration of industry and Commerce has seized 12 thousand watches infringing the exclusive right of registered trademarks of international famous brands last year, detaining one suspect in the process.
