Mr. Zhang worked in Beijing Heavy Machinery Factory, focusing on design and patent application of the power plant equipments.

Joining DRAGON in 2002, Mr. Zhang has worked as a patent lawyer in the prosecution of patent applications and patent litigations in the fields of mechanics, mechatronic engineering, Design, etc. Mr. Zhang shows predominant capabilities in dealing with the patent invalidation cases. In these cases, Mr. Zhang demonstrated his excellent capabilities in making judgments of identicalness and similarity of the industrial designs, and his great ability to make strong arguments in the oral hearings and at court. He has won many tough cases on patent invalidation and infringement for both our domestic and foreign clients. In 2003, Mr. Zhang was awarded the title of Excellent Patent Attorney by the Beijing Intellectual Property Office for his outstanding professional performance. Now Mr. Zhang is the deputy General Manager in charge of foreign-related prosecution.
